Counselling With Care

ABOUT COUNSELLING -

Counselling is somewhere you can come to have space and give yourself the time to work through the issues in your life that are affecting you. These may be from your childhood, the present or fears for your future. You can discuss anything that is bothering you in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental environment.

WHAT ISSUES CAN I BRING? -

Debt, Bereavement, Stress, Anxiety, Sexual abuse, Domestic Violence/Abuse, Past family issues, Relationships, Communication & Self Esteem (or anything that is bothering you).

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM COUNSELLING? -

Counselling is not a miracle cure but with time it can help you to cope better.
You decide how many sessions you need together with your counsellor and this will be reviewed regularly to ensure it meets with your needs.

Counselling can be hard initially as you explore and open up about painful feelings that may have been buried for a long time, however hopefully you will begin to feel clearer in your thoughts & feelings and learn to develop better coping strategies with a skilled counsellor acting as facilitator.

ABOUT ADVOCACY -

If you have welfare problems such as debt, housing or education issues, we will sign-post you to the most appropriate agency and if you are a young person or vulnerable adult, we will act on your behalf by contacting the agency and finding out who you need to speak to etc.

We will follow your enquiry through and continue to support you, ensuring you get the best advice.
