Person-Centred based counselling believes that you have the answers for yourself and we will help you to find those answers. We do not offer advice, however we will refer you to another agency if we feel it is in your best interest. We have a duty of care towards you and we provide counselling offered by non-judgemental, empathic counsellors in a confidential safe environment.
In the 1st session a contract is agreed between yourself and the counsellor which sets out the boundaries to keep you safe and provides clear understanding of health & safety issues and when we may need to break confidentiality. Your safety & well-beng is our priority and our work together will always be to serve the best interests of you, our client.
We have experience in working with victims of domestic violence/abuse, debt, mental health issues (mild to moderate), bereavement, sexual abuse, parenting/communication issues with adults & young people. Young runaways & families involved in ASBO behaviour. Generalised counselling.
Housing tenancy support, support packages for vulnerable adults.
